Judges will ask questions to test the depth of your research, the viability of your solution, and your understanding of the market. Be prepared to defend your assumptions and elaborate on your strategy. Here are some common areas of inquiry:

Market & Strategy

  • What is your total addressable market (TAM), and how did you calculate it?
  • Who are your primary competitors, and what is your unique competitive advantage?
  • What is your customer acquisition strategy and estimated cost per acquisition?
  • How do you plan on scaling your business over the next 5 years?

Financials & Viability

  • Can you explain your revenue model in detail?
  • What are your key startup costs and operational expenses?
  • What are your financial projections for the first three years? What are the key assumptions behind them?
  • When do you project to reach profitability?

Execution & Risk

  • What are the biggest risks facing your venture and how will you mitigate them?
  • What are the key milestones for your first year of operation?
  • Why is your team the right team to execute this vision?
  • Have you considered the regulatory or ethical implications of your solution?
